Gift of a grant from your Donor Advised Fund
A grant made to The National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church will help support our mission.
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) offers the means to have a “charitable savings account” that earns interest until you are ready to make your charitable donations. Consider all the charities to which you give over the year, “bundle” the checks you would write and deposit into your Donor Advised Fund. You will receive a tax deduction that year.
Donations to charity from a Donor Advised Funds are called “grants.” A check is written from your DAF custodian account directly to the charity for you. A minimum balance may be required for founding your DAF.
